But how do you make it happen? How do you get people together to discuss meeting shared needs? And how do you turn that talk into action?
NCVO is hosting a one-day workshop that promises to show you how to create and support partnerships within the voluntary and community sector. It will:
- Give you an overview of collaboration, the drivers, context and why it’s so high on the agenda
- Give you ideas for where collaboration might be used and how
- Provide tools for preparing for and running that first meeting
- Give you tips on facilitating meetings and keeping things moving
- Identify possible obstacles and how to overcome them
- Identify models of collaboration
- Show you how organisations can achieve more together than they could alone
