Voluntary Sector Use of the Internet in 2008

The results of Virtual Promise 2008, the annual survey of how charities are using the Internet, has been published by nfpSynergy.  The survey results are available as a free to download PDF from here.

The survey found that the most popular uses of the Internet were for:

  • 70% fundraising and oter research
  • 65% purchasing goods and services
  • 48% social networking
  • 47% remote access
  • 35% e-learning
  • 24% VoIP
