500 winners announced for Targeted Support Fund

The government has announced the award of 558 grants to voluntary and community organisations (VCOs) totalling £13.356m from its Targeted Support Fund. Downturn hits funders

A recent survey by the Association of Charitable Foundations (ACF) finds that charitable trusts and foundations have also been significantly hit by the downturn, with 75% of respondents reporting  a significant decrease in investment value over the past 12 months. Improving Reach Awards 2008: London
