Holly - we're on it. Maybe we could hook up for a webinar or even an old fashioned workshop next time you're in the UK?

currently undergoing a social media research project for a volunteering agency here in British Columbia. From what I've seen from the infrastructure these frustrations are very real and need to be improved. Will be looking at that Dot Organize report here and seeing if they were able to address the issues and provide any solutions. Are there any other sites that have taken the initiatives and done similar projects? I'd really like to see what was done and how it worked.

Iris,

Point taken - whilst the study is not recent, the conslusions are probably still relevant to the digital inclusion debate and the Government's recently launched Digital Britain report.

Thanks,

Miles

I just checked the link: the study mentioned was published in 2003 (!) I would not consider this "recent" given the dramatic changes in internet and PC adoption since then.

Thanks Jason.

I'd also recommend Lasa's circuit riding 2.0 and circuit rider project evaluation. Head over to http://ictchampion.lasa.org.uk/resources/

Thanks Miles, useful to know about this guide. Might get some useful tips from it because I'm trying to recommend circuit riding as a possible solution here in Australia.
